2024 Ballot Access

Offices on the ballot for April 2024 Spring Election are Village Trustee 4, Trustee 5, and Trustee 6. Incumbents are Kellee Venden, Rick Short, and Steve Vosberg. 

Documents to Submit to Municipal Clerk to Run for Local Office:

• Campaign Registration Statement
• Declaration of Candidacy
• Nomination Papers for Nonpartisan Office

Important Dates and Deadlines

• December 1, 2023 – First day nomination papers may be circulated
• December 22, 2023 – Deadline for incumbents not seeking re-election to file Notice of Non-Candidacy
• January 2, 2024 – ALL PAPERS AND FORMS due in Clerk’s Office by 5:00 PM.
• January 5, 2024 – Deadline to challenge nomination papers
• February 20, 2024 Spring Primary (If needed)
• March 29,2024 – Noon, Deadline to file Campaign Registration Statement to be considered a registered write-in candidate
• April 2, 2024 – Spring Election
